About Us

The Kingborough Boating Club has been running since 1974.

The club was formed to provide a safe and friendly environment to undertake water based activities at minimal cost to members specifically and more generally for members of the wider community.

Our current member facilities include;

• • 19 Moorings on Bruny Island in North Simmonds Bay, Quarantine Bay, Sykes Cove, Rosebanks Bay, Alexanders Bay, Apollo Bay, Missionary Bay and Great Bay along with 2 Moorings at Peppermint Bay and a Mooring at Dover, Taranna & Dunalley.

We also currently run the Barnes Bay Regatta. This regatta is held annually on the last weekend of Daylight Saving with an evening function held at the Bruny Island Quarantine Station.
